What are the emerging issues of economic security in South Sudan?
Title: Economic Security in South Sudan
Introduction
It is a considerable fact that economic uncertainty is becoming increasingly institutionalised in an increasing number of organisations, with a notably severe influence on the labor and financial sectors. When it comes to the world’s poorest nations, neoliberal globalisation has made matters significantly worse. It seems likely that for the foreseeable future, the majority of people’s lives will be marked by either risk or economic insecurity (International Monetary Fund, 2020). Difficulties in dealing with sickness, unemployment, a scarcity of food and shelter are all prevalent in a community with an unsteady economic situation (AbouChadi and Immergut, 2019).
Since the beginning of globalisation, human civilization has undergone significant modifications, and we now need to move on to the next chapter of our evolutionary journeys. According to the International Labour Organisation (2014), a broad variety of institutional and legislative adjustments are required in order to have a genuinely safe economic environment. Insecurity and instability in the economy have increased as a consequence of globalisation and liberalization. Economic security and globalisation, as well as flexible markets, informal economic activity, and income insecurity, all constitute a serious danger to the international economy (Jensen and Wenzelburger, 2020).
