The Effect of Knowledge and Experience of Board of Companies on Mergers and Acquisitions

The knowledge and experience of the members of BOD have been identified as some of the factors influencing their ability to make sustainable decisions for their companies. In an attempt to explore the role knowledge and experience of board members’ performance, Ahmad, Bin Mohammad, and Nordin (2019) assessed the impacts of BOD’s educational background and qualifications on the company’s performance. Specifically, this analysis established that education diversity in the form of Ph.D. and non-PhD qualifications impacted the general performance of the involved companies
