• What is the difference between internal and external validity?
Internal validity refers to the only exposure to the independent variable produced changes the dependent variable and there are no other factors that account for the changes. External validity refers to finding that are applied beyond the cases that were studied to their population (Yegidis, B. 2018).
• Select two internal validity threats and describe each.
Testing happens when test are repeated, the person being tested could change the outcome by repeating the test more than one time.
History refers to events that happen between the 1st and 2nd measurement.
• After examining each category and list of designs, determine which design controls for all threats to internal validity. Explain how this design controls for all threats.
The Pretest-Posttest control group design controls all the threats. Internal validity produces changes may be the result of treatments.
