In this assignment you will demonstrate the application of program theory as an evaluation tool to investigate a training and development intervention or program. You will choose an existing training program/intervention from your work context. Most training programs will not have a program theory developed. If by chance it does, you will evaluate how accurate/useful this developed theory is/was in achieving the intended outcomes and impact. Therefore, you will be developing (or building on) a program theory that gives rise to future evaluation.
