write an essay with the following sections:

sections:

Introduction
Ethical Argument
Explanation and Defense
Objection and Response
Conclusion

The paper should utilize three scholarly resources, and include a title page and reference page.

Part 1: Introduction
In this section of the paper, you will begin with your ethical question, introduce the topic and paper, and close with a thesis statement.

The ethical question may be the same as your Week 3 written assignment (“Applying an Ethical Theory”) or a revised version of it.
The introduction should be revised in a way that reflects your additional thinking on the issue and question.
End this section with a thesis statement that states your position on the issue (the answer to the ethical question you believe is strongest) and provides a brief summary of the main ideas you will be presenting in the paper. Please see the assignment guidance for examples of thesis statements.

Place the introduction under the Part 1: Introduction heading.

Part 2: Ethical Argument
In this section of the paper, you will present the strongest argument you can in support of the position you have stated in your introduction.

This will be similar to the “supporting reasons” you offered in the first assignment; however, this argument should reflect your research into the key ethical issues that need to be identified and addressed, the arguments on different sides of this problem, and the theories of moral reasoning we have studied in the class (you will discuss the specific details and implications of the moral theories in the next two sections).
You can think of this as a summary of the main argument you would give if you were an attorney trying to convince a jury of your position.

Place this information under the Part 2: Ethical Argument heading.

Part 3: Explanation and Defense
In this section, you will explain and defend your argument by drawing on the moral theory that aligns most closely with the argument you presented in Part 2. This may be the same theory you discussed in your second assignment, but it may also be a different theory.

You must first explain the theory in general terms similar to how you explained a theory in your second assignment, including a brief account of the historical background of the theory and the philosopher(s) associated with it and general overview of the core moral ideal or principle of the theory, including the way it guides and constrains moral reasoning.
You should then clearly show how your argument represents an application of that form of moral reasoning.
In other words, if the argument you present in Part 2 is utilitarian, deontological, or virtue-based (teleological), you will want to explain utilitarianism, deontology, or virtue ethics in general terms, then explain how your argument from Part 2 reflects or draws upon the core principles and values of that theory. Please refer to the Week 3 assignment instructions for directions on how to explain and apply the moral theory.

Place this section under the Part 3: Explanation and Defense heading.

Part 4: Objection and Response
In this section of the paper, you will present the strongest objection you can to your argument, and briefly defend that objection by appealing to a different ethical theory than the one you focused on in Part 3.

Briefly explain the core moral ideal or principle of the theory and how that could be the basis of an objection to your argument. For instance, if you explained and defended your own argument by applying the principles of virtue ethics, you could raise an objection from the perspective of utilitarianism by briefly explaining the core utilitarian principle and how applying that principle could lead someone to a different conclusion than the one you are defending.
Next, you should respond to the objection by explaining why it is not strong enough to undermine the main argument in defense of your position.
See the assignment guidance for suggestions on how to effectively respond to the objection.

Place this section under the Part 4: Objection and Response heading.

Part 5: Conclusion
In this section of the paper, provide a summary of what you have done in the paper by briefly describing what you accomplished in each of the above sections.

Prepare a written case analysis of a company

A case analysis is just that, it is not a restatement of the facts, or a summary of the history of the company or its products or services. You could assume that I am the CEO of the company and that I have asked you in as a consultant. You can assume that I know management/finance/marketing concepts/matrices therefore you don’t have to explain them. I want your thoughts, opinions, recommendations on the case assigned.

You should have 6 major headings for your report
Step 1: 1st Heading: Mission & Vision
Evaluate the company’s vision and mission statements. (See Chapter 2) Find it in the text material, on the company’s Web site, their annual report, or elsewhere. Does it have the necessary components? What would it take to improve these statements? Propose one (vision/mission) if the company doesn’t currently have one.
Step 2: 2nd Heading: Internal Assessment
Conduct an internal assessment. (See Chapter 4) Analyze the company’s financial condition. Look at yearly trends, not just the past quarter. Discuss the highlights of that analysis using $’s or %’s, especially the good and bad ratios, trends, current status. How has the company’s stock performed over the years?

Construct an Internal Factor Evaluation Matrix (IFE). Discuss some of the more important factors in the matrix.

Evaluate the company’s marketing strategies (4P’s) as they are now. A Boston Consulting Group Matrix, market positioning map, market segmentation analysis, or geographic map might be appropriate here. Discuss the important findings of each.

Step 3: 3rd Heading: External Assessment
Conduct an external assessment. (See Chapter 3) Identify and contrast the company’s major competitor(s). Compare market share. Construct a Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM), include 7-10 factors and compare to one other major competitor.

What are some key industry trends affecting the company? Are they negative or positive for the company/industry?

Construct an External Factor Evaluation Matrix (EFE). Discuss some of the more important factors in the matrix.

Step 4: 4th Heading: Strategic Options
Formulate possible strategies. (See Chapter’s 5 & 6) Construct a SWOT Matrix. Generate SO, WO, ST, and WT possible strategies. What quadrant would the company be in a Grand Strategy Matrix? Why? As a result, what might be some specific strategies the company might take?

If there are two (use only two) mutually exclusive major strategic possibilities, use a Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) to identify the better one.

Step 5: 5th Heading: Recommendations
Present your recommendations. Remember this is an important part of your analysis, and probably the most difficult. You should have a number of various recommendations to make. Some major, some minor, some to be done immediately, some over an extended period of time. Just as important is your justification for your recommendations, discuss those.

Step 6: 6th Heading: Update
Provide an update of the company. Anything of note recently?

Advise Patricia as to whether she can get her car back

Patricia was the owner of a BMW car. As Patricia decided to live abroad for a long time, she entrusted her friend, Lucy, to market and sell the car at a price between £26,000-£30,000. Patricia and Lucy agreed when Lucy found a buyer, the final decision of sale should be made by Patricia. In return, Lucy was paid £1,000 for her time and effort.

In order to give potential buyers an opportunity to test drive the car and convince them that Lucy was not a fraudster, Patricia gave Lucy the keys to the car. Patricia also signed a letter certifying that the car had been sold to Lucy. However, Patricia agreed with Lucy privately that this was not a true sale. The only purpose of providing this letter was to facilitate the negotiation between Lucy and buyers. Later, Andrew approached Lucy and said he was interested in the car. The car was priced at £30,000 and Andrew was happy with that price. Lucy believed that this was a good deal, so she sold the car to Andrew. In their agreement, Lucy allowed him to drive the car away after receiving a £30,000 cheque. However, to reduce risk, they inserted a retention of title clause in the contract which provided that, without receiving payment from Andrew’s bank, he would not have the title of the car.

Andrew forgot that his bank balance was insufficient in his account, so the cheque was dishonoured by his bank after he had the possession of the car. Later, Andrew sold the car to his friend Seven for £5,000. When Seven asked for the car documents, Andrew replied that he could not provide them. After a few days, Patricia knew that her car was sold by Lucy without seeking her approval. She would like to claim the car back from Seven.
Advise Patricia as to whether she can get her car back.

Invent a Culture and write about it

Your job is to create a culture that doesn’t currently exist. In order to establish a culture, its people should have some things in common, which you should describe in details. Categories for these commonalities might include (but are not limited to):

clothing style
gender roles
spiritual beliefs
traditions
rites of passage
laws and rules
social expectations
education format
hobbies
housing/dwellings
daily routines
physical appearance
etc.

You can write about this culture from the first-person perspective (as if you are living in it) or from a documentary perspective (as if you’re reporting on it.)

Form a position (for or against) on the topic of a rent moratorium

The coronavirus is a highly contagious virus that significantly impacted the world in 2020 and continues to impact the world today. Beyond contagion, health, and medical concerns, the coronavirus pandemic impacted employment, businesses, and the incomes of everyday citizens. In response to these concerns, the Federal government issued a period of rent relief for renters of housing. This rent relief was a temporary hold of sorts on renters being evicted from housing units for non-payment. A rent moratorium- but not a rent forgiveness. original rent moratorium expired in July 2021, But after some contention, the moratorium was renewed shortly after through executive order. As of August 26, 2021, the U.S. Supreme Court has reversed this executive order. Read through the following articles to obtain a general understanding of the subject and the different perspectives/stakeholders on the subject. Form a position (for or against) on the topic of a rent moratorium based on the information you have gathered and identify economic concepts in the topic you are studying.

discuss the importance of critical thinking skills

Strategy formulation requires an objective analysis of the factors that characterize the company’s strategic situation. There are a number of techniques that can be used to create a quick strategic overview of the company. SWOT analysis is an example of such a technique. SWOT analysis is based on the assumption that an effective strategy derives from a soundit” between the company’s internal resources (Strengths and Weaknesses) and its external situation (Opportunities and Threats). A good fit maximizes the company’s strengths and opportunities and minimizes its weaknesses and threats.

For example:

Positive

Negative

Internal Factors

Strengths

Technological Skills
Leading Brands
Distribution Channels
Customer Loyalty
Customer Relationship
Production Quality
Management
Weaknesses

Absence of important skills
Weak Brands
Poor Access to Distribution

Change in Geographic Markets
Technological Advances
Changes in Government Policy
Lower Personal Taxes
Change in Demographic Structure
