Discuss the rise of radical Islam and the flourishing of terror organizations such as ISIS and al-Qaeda. For this assignment, you will apply what you have learned in this unit to a small business. To get the business’s finances under control, you need to prepare a budget. Compromising the Food Process
The assignment this week will require you to identify a deliberate or accidental food or product contamination incident. In your paper you will summarize:

James Madison’s “factions” are today’s interest groups. Madison believed that pitting the groups against each other in a large republic would help to control their effects but understood that getting rid of such groups was impossible in a democratic republic because of liberty itself, the differing opinions of mankind, and the unequal distribution of property.
So, 3 main theories have developed to describe the overall impact of interest groups on our republic: pluralism, hyper-pluralism and the power-elite theory.

Of the three essays, which essay interested you the most? Why? For instance, was the topic closer to your own interests than the other essays? Did the writer manage to draw you in despite your lack of initial interest?
In Ch. 6, the CEL suggests that all writers write with “broad” and “specific” purposes in mind (170). For the essay that you found the most interesting, how do you imagine the writer developed a connection to the “broad purpose” of their topic (also list what that broad purpose is)? Is it clear that the writer already had a passion for the topic through personal experiences or relationships?

William is a leadership student at Trinity Western University. He was helping a couple of his classmates with their assignments. It didn’t take long before he realized that he can make some money while doing this. William started charging $10 per page. Then the demand for his services increases.
