instructions on how to submit at the end of this assignment paper.
Task One: Time Management
A) Demonstrate your time management skills by creating a timetable for study
during this module. In your timetable highlight your work commitments, family
time, study time and recreational time.
B) Write a reflection on how you managed your time, utilising the timetable and using Pomodoro or Eisenhower to manage your study. Use Gibb’s model to
structure your reflection.

(LOs:2)
Task Two: Resources and reflection
A) Identify 4 key resources that you have used to support your study during this module. Explain how you used each resource in your studies.
B) Write a reflection on the development of your academic skills during this
module. For example, writing skills, referencing skills, researching skills and
summarising skills. Use Gibb’s model to structure your reflection.

(LOs:1)
Task Three: Literature searching, note taking and evaluating
A) Find a book online using Perlego on the topic of Academic Integrity,
plagiarism and referencing. Summarise the key points using the Cornell note
taking method. State the full reference of the book (AU Harvard),
demonstrate your note taking and then give a summary of the source in terms
of its credibility (using the CAARP guidance, which is documented on iLearn).
B) Find a newspaper article or website online on the topic of Academic Integrity,
plagiarism and referencing. Summarise the key points using a mind map
note taking method. State the full reference of the book (AU Harvard),
demonstrate your note taking and then give a summary of the source in terms
of its credibility (using the CAARP guidance, which is documented on iLearn).

(LOs: 3)
Task Four: Plagiarism and referencing
A) Explain what is meant by plagiarism and academic integrity. Support your
explanations with definitions and citations.
B) Produce an ‘at a glance’ leaflet that gives examples and explanations on how to produce a reference list using AU Harvard referencing. Include examples on how to insert in-text citations and direct quotations.

This new treatment can reduce the severity of disease and prevent the deaths of patients with Covid-19. What should your company do regarding the discovery of this new treatment?

Scenario:
• You are the CEO of a small drug company (200 employees) that produces a handful of marginally successful drugs with limited market shares. Total revenue last year was $100 million, with 2% profit.

• You started your career as a Primary Care Physician, with an undergrad degree in chemical engineering, before moving into the pharmaceutical industry.

• Your company has barely been profitable the last few years and you are struggling to compete with the large multinational pharmaceutical firms.

• However, your scientists have discovered that one of your existing medicines (called X1) is an effective treatment for people with Covid-19. It is not a vaccine, but when given to people with Covid-19 it dramatically reduces symptoms and disease severity. No patients given the medication in clinical trials needed to be treated in the ICU or died from Covid-19 complications and hospital stays were significantly lower than a control group.

• Your company holds the exclusive US and European patents for this existing drug and let’s assume the X1 patents hold for the new treatment. No clinical trials or FDA approvals are required since the drug has already been on the market for years and has an excellent safety record.

• The current production cost (includes research and development, marketing, sales, logistics) of X1 is $5 per pill and patients will take one pill a day for 5 days to treat Covid-19.

• The current price of X1 is $10 per pill for the patients who take if for an autoimmune disease. The profit margin for X1 covers the losses made on your other drugs and the company breaks even or returns a small profit each year.

• The US demand for this new Covid-19 treatment is currently 1 million doses per month for Dec 2021, but demand will rise to 5 million doses per month by March 2022. Worldwide demand is expected to exceed 10 million doses per month.

• Your current production capacity for X1 is 100,000 pills per month, but you can expand this to 300,000 pills by diverting other manufacturing lines to make the pills. Increasing capacity further would require construction of a new plant or replacing existing production lines with new equipment and is not feasible until mid-2023 or beyond.

Simplistic profit calculations
Profit per unit= selling price per unit – production costs per unit.
Example: $5 price – $3 production costs = $2 profit per unit
Total Profit = profit per unit x units sold
Example: $2 profit per unit x 100 units sold = $200 total profit.

Exam components-Be sure to answer all questions!
Introduction:
Provide a detailed 3-4 paragraph background section on the discovery of and spread of Covid-19, including the current number of confirmed infections and deaths worldwide and in the US at the time of writing. Sources must be cited properly. Discuss the economic impacts of the pandemic and lockdowns, especially for the healthcare industry. Discuss the cultural and societal impacts (schools, work, social, etc.) Be sure to cite sources. The goal for this section is to be informative and concise to give the reader suitable understanding of the Covid-19 situation. You do not need to cover every Covid-19 related event, select what you think are the most important milestones and themes. These can include cultural, political or economic events as well as scientific or epidemiological ones.

Part 2 – Leases
This part of assignment is based on two examples prepared by a student which are based on understanding of IFRS 16 Leases requirements.
Requirements:
1. Discuss the main requirements of IFRS 16 Leases.
2. Prepare an example based on following assumptions:
On 1 January 20X1 an entity entered, as lessee, into a three-year lease of a machine that has an economic life of five years, at the end of which it is expected to have no value. At the end of a lease, the ownership is transferred on a lessee.
The lessee is required to pay the lessor: 10,000 on 1 January 20X1 and 6360 at the end of each year.
The depreciation method is straight-line. The interest rate is 5 per cent per year.
Prepare an amortisation table in this format:
Date Payment
Present value of payments Liability at start of period Interest Reduction of the liability Liability at end of period
1 January 20X1 10,000
31 December 20X1 6360
31 December 20X2 6360
31 December 20X3 6360

Summarise the impact on financial statements in this format (assume that the end of accounting period is 31 December):
Income statement Statement of financial position
Year ended 31 December Finance charge (interest) Depreciation Right of use (NBV) Total liability Non-current liability Current liability
20X1
20X2
20X3

3. Using the same numbers as in previous example, assume a situation in which the definition of a lease is NOT met (include an example of such situation). An entity accounts for this situation as for a service.
Summarise the impact on financial statements in this format (assume that the end of accounting period is 31 December):
Year ended 31 December Income statement
Expense (Service) Statement of financial position
Prepayments

Identify the core IoT security requirements for the following

The challenging concept of ensuring security over the new IoT device and technology implementation at the corporation is now the next task which must be briefed and understood by management. Corporate sensitive information, personally identifiable information, financial records and more will be within the IoT sphere therefore a meeting is required to discuss the security infrastructure needed for effective IoT implementation. Management would like a 3-5 page concept paper put together bringing depth to the critical security concepts needed for the IoT asset tracking implementation and strong device identity protection. Identify the core IoT security requirements for the following:

Describe the security infrastructure needed to establish “trust” when a device connects to the network.
Identify the required security needed to ensure personal, sensitive and financial information is kept private and secure, and device identity is preserved.
For the devices and the data being sent across the IoT infrastructure, security integrity is critical. Describe how security professionals will ensure the “data integrity” and encryption of information being transmitted.

Explain or outline how you used the information from your research articles on the website.

Explain or outline how you used the information from your research articles on the website. Create a Word document (11 or 12 point font, double space, 1″ margins, 2 pages minimum) that contains the following information:

How did you/your team use your two articles on the website OR if your articles were not used, how did your articles guide your contribution to the website?
Provide additional information regarding other evidence you contributed if applicable
Finally, discuss the challenges and rewards of creating an evidence based website with a team
This paper can be written in first person, narrative form. Be sure to include a thorough discussion of ‘c’.

How did the character influence or change your perception or understanding of the personality psychology and how did that character influence YOU as a person?

This is for my psychology of personality class.
STEP 1: Choose a character from a movie (Can be a documentary or a fiction), book, a biography of someone known or famous (must be someone known to the public (Angelina Jolie, Socrates, Hilary Clinton etc.).
STEP 2: You will assess/analyze character’s personality based on various Personality Psychology theories. (Ex: Frued’s psychoanalytic theory, psychosexual, Tripartite theory, allport’s trait theory)
Choose two or more theories
STEP 3: This is the format of the Analysis: (Use this for each individual theory. This is just an Example
to give you more clarity)
Theory: Existentialism
Theorist: Viktor Frankl
Focus: Freedom to choose and develop Strengths (the character likes or is inclined to…): looks at the meaning of life and my purpose on earth
Weaknesses (the character dislikes or not inclined to…): focuses on existential anxiety (feelings of dread and panic)
Analysis: Jane believes in focusing on the positive in life. She believes we are elements of change and can make a difference. For example, when she sees or hears something good about a person. She calls them to pass along the compliments. She has often said that parents only get telephone calls that
start with “are you the parent of . . .” when someone is calling to complain. She believes and lives her beliefs by calling parents with “good news” whenever she sees or hears something good about their child.
Summarize and present evidence for your analysis. In your analysis, include the benefits and drawbacks of the theoretical perspectives. We know that an individual cannot be fully described by one or two theoretical perspectives and they each have benefits and limitations.
Conclusion: In few words tell me how did the character influence or change your perception or understanding of the personality psychology and how did that character influence YOU as a person? (If Yes, How?), (such as made you more aware of the characteristics, behavioral or thinking patterns you
have that you were not as keenly aware of before? Including but not limited to communication styles, emotional expressions, body language etc.). Could you relate to the character in any way? (If yes, how?)
